Great gift that makes a meal

I bought this as a gift for friends and actually got to help them eat it. Loved the smoked salmon. Included cheese crackers and mustard; enough for a meal for three of four even though we ate it as an appetizer. Comes with a very nice bamboo style cutting board that can be used over and over again. My friends were impressed with the gift and so was I. Fun but dumb...

These nostalgia gift baskets that have shown up in the last few years are sort of fun but kind of lame. The food part of them has all the right gadgets and lookalikes inside but what ruins it is that the packaging people who do this have to follow 21st century labeling standards of specifc ingredients including barcodes. Nutrition facts and all those stupid warning things that make it seem like your Clark bar just got pumped out of a modern day Nestles plant. Kind of a downer. Too bad. Great idea if you didn't have to modernize it to make sure that your legal butt is covered. The real gift gadget would be for the items to appear EXACTLY as they were originally without all those damn warnings and cautions to protect us. Sweet Success is a Real Success

I gave this to my mother-in-law and to my sister-in-law for their birthdays. I really scored big time. They are enjoying their gifts for several days and both have called me repeatedly to thank me for it. They keep telling me how delicious everthing is. I may get one for myself it sounds so good! My wife loved this gift

Gave this to my wife this spring as she started her annual spring planting. For the price it was money well spent. The tools are ment for indoor gardening not outside but she really enjoyed the food she enjoys tea and it won me points for thoughtfulness. Disappointing

I gave it only two stars because I was disappointed in the amount of chocolate included in this basket. The packaging and presentation were very nice but the contents left my wife looking for more. The candy was fresh and tasted good but the portions were very small. The box and packaging weigh five pounds but I would estimate there were only about 14 ounces or less of candy. For $39.99 plus $9.99 shipping you could do much better shopping at your local HEB or Rite Aid. Next time I will buy her a two pound Whitman's Sampler as they know how to pack a box with chocolates.More detail ...

HORRIBLY disappointed!

I recieved this for Christmas last year and was extremely grateful. However this box did not contain about HALF of the candy that was listed (yes I double checked!) especially the stuff I really wanted like the stamps and blocks and mamba.More detail ...

teacher's gift

I got this as a gift to my son's teacher. The assistant teacher got the Numi's flowering tea set. I figured it's better to give something food related than the old spa gift soaps and lotions than one may never use or even worse the impersonal gift cards (did that last year).
